Hostel Rules:
1. The refundable deposits
are to be obtained back only at the end of an academic year. 6.2 Bank
Facility:
The Corporation Bank has
an extension counter in the college campus providing banking facilities to the
students and staff. All financial transactions including payment of fees, etc
are through Bank challans. 6.3 Sports
and Recreation:
These activities are organized
under the auspicious of a student's committee with the guidance of a faculty.
This group coordinates their athletic, social and cultural life. The college
students have already participated in various inter collegiate sports and literary
activities and have won prizes. 6.4 Placement
Center:
2. If any student wishes to leave the hostel before the end of the academic
year, he has to pay room rent for the full academic year.
3. Students admitted to hostel have to join the mess compulsorily.
4. Students should not occupy their allotted rooms without written permission
from the hostel warden.
5. Students should give the list of articles, fumitures etc. in their respective
rooms belonging to the College and are wholly responsible for the same. Any
damage should be intimated immediately or else the entire cost will be recovered
from the inmates. The cost of repairs, if any will be charged to the inmates
of the particular room.
6. Administering, consumption or storage of liquor, Ganja or any such drugs
prohibited by the Central Excise/Customs is strictly prohibited inside the College
Hostel premises.
7. Entertaining Lady guests (boys hostel) and gents guests (girls hostel) is
prohibited.
8. In general,the inmates are expected to be back in the hostel by 10.00PM(boys)
and by 7.30PM(girls) and also shall not leave the hostel premises after 10.00PM
and 7.30PM respectively.
9. Students are expected to maintain the rooms clean and tidy.
10. In the event of any disturbance in the dining hall, students are requested
not to interact directly with the mess staff, but report the same immediately
to the Warden through the Mess Manager. In any case, they should intimate the
same to the resident assistant warden. Suitable action will follow. Employees
appointed as the Hostel Staff should not be dealt directly with the students.
11. Caution deposit paid at the time of joining will not be adjusted for the
last two months mess bills of the academic year. It will be refunded only at
the time of leaving the Hostel once and for all.
12. Students should abide by the General Financial commitments imposed by the
Hostel authorities.
13. Ragging in any form is strictly prohibited. Any act of indiscipline in this
regard will entail a minimum punishment of expulsion from the hostel immediately.
In addition, the student is also subject to expulsion from the college authorities.
14. Students should not take any vessels or food from the mess to their rooms.
15. Students involving in anti social activities will be expelled from the hostel.
16. Students must not allow their non-hostalite friends to stay over night in
their rooms.
17. Students who are detained in their semester exams are not eligible to continue
in the hostel.
18. Students have to pay the room rent before the 5th of every month. Late payment
carry fine as prescribed by the Hostel Management.
19. Students are not allowed to go to other rooms, not allotted to them during
study hours (7PM to 11 PM).
20. Students are informed to switch off the Light and Fan when not in the room.
They have to intimate the Hostel Warden before they leave the Hostel for going
to Native.

A placement and training center is set up for liasoning and interaction with industries for working out training programmes and for placement of students after their graduation in reputed industries and organizations. More than 200 students have been selected through Campus and off-campus Interviews for various IT Sectors.
This year for 2004 batch,
already 21 % placement is over and still recruitment is in progress. About 23
MNC's and Software companies for both campus and off-campus recruitments. For
2005 batches the giant companies like WIPRO, INFOSYS, SATYAM, TCS are planning
to do campus and invitation letters are already sent. Recently in Feb 2004 Satyam
computers has conducted All India Recruitment at our college campus for more
than 2000 candidates including our students.
