Campus: JSSATE was established in
the year 1997 at
Infrastructure: JSSATE has an
excellent infrastructure with the state-of-the art equipment and machinery as
laboratory facilities. The whole building is networked and has centralized
browsing facility with 6 Mbps dedicated internet bandwidth (1:1) with /isdn
backup. Entire college is equipped with Wi-Fi facility.JSSATE is located at JSS

All admissions are made through Common Entrance Test (CET) conducted by Government of Karnataka/COMEDK as applicable. The percentage varies from year to year.
2009-10 admission for Undergraduate courses: 50% of the seats are filled through CET, 25% of the seats through COMEDK and 25% of the seats are filled through NRI/Management.
2009-10 admission for Postgraduate courses: M.Tech seats are filled through PGCET, MBA- 50% of the seats are filled through PGCET and 50% of the seats are filled through KMAT.

Menace in Colleges & Hostels
In
accordance with circular F.No.
14-1/Mics/Tech/swro/2010/14774
dated: 12/08/2010 and Govt. circular No. ED 98 URC 98 Dt: 09/09/1998 two
committees have been formed as detailed bellow to prevent Ragging Menace in our
College & Hostel. The HOD’s & committee members are requested to
bestow personal attention and see that no case of ragging arises in our college
& hostel. Any staff members or student who comes to know of any preparation
for ragging or any incident of ragging may immediately contact the members of
the committee to facilitate curbing of such menace at the initial stage it self

Consequences of indulging in ragging
1. Rustication from the
institution for period ranging from 1 to 4 semester.
2. Prosecution under Indian
penal code which may lead to imprisonment of one or more years and fine of Rs.
2000/- or both.
3. Expulsion from the
institution and consequent debarring from admission to any other institution.
4. Suspension / Expulsion from
the hostel
5. Debarring from representing
the institution in any regional national or international meet, tournament,
youth festival, etc.
6. Withholding of the result
7. Debarring from appearing in
any test / examination or other evaluation process
8. Withholding/Withdrawing
scholarship / fellowship and other benefits
9. Cancellation of admission.
